This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Greetings Earthlings. I can't tell you how much I miss posting pics here at dA. Not having a place to show my stuff really affects my desire to get out there three/four times a week and hunt down new images. However, I cannot return here and show because of my fervid objections to certain procedures here.
A few updates...
SLIDE SHOW
I am working on a project right now of creating a slide show of my Detroit images, put to music. When complete I will probably show it on YouTube. I'll post the link here. However, that won't be tomorrow. It's a huge project.
WEBSITE
I am planning on posting my own website with only my own photos. I'd like to create a page of new stuff I've found. I'll probably separate it in a few directions, the death (cemeteries) on one side, the destruction on the other, maybe something else in the middle.
ORDER
Yes, I ordered a new camera today. I've pretty much worn out my three digital cameras and am turning my attention to a D-SLR. This will be my first venture in that realm, in a digital camera, that is. Years ago I owned a Minolta SRT-101 film camera and loved it. After careful consideration, I'm going with a good, solid camera, unfortunately one of the more popular brands. Yeah, it's gonna be a Canon Rebel XTi. I ordered a decent telephoto, which I must say is my favorite way of shooting pics. I really enjoyed my Fujifilm S500 but had so many problems (and extremely poor customer service) that I won't go there again. My Minolta Dimage Z3 was fun, especially the 12X optical zoom, but it had metering problems all the while; I was able to fix and compensate in my photo editing, so you probably did not know. My Canon Powershot A50 was a good, solid camera that always delivered sharp rich pics. It lacked telephoto capacity so I did not use it as often.
Stop by and say 'hi' once in a while. I'm still here, but just busy with my projects and hopefully soon I'll get back to my camera, probably by this weekend. I'll have it by Friday.
First thing I checked upon my own recent return was your profile, hoping against hope I'd find an address to your site here, remembering fondly hours spent viewing your photographs of lighter and darker subjects...
I hope you're still going strong somewhere out there, snapping those sweet pictures and posting them somewhere you feel safe...
